Yokai Steps Into ADCC Cape Town
We're proud to announce that several Yokai Martial Arts members will be representing at ADCC Cape Town on 28 June. Stay tuned as we follow their journey, share behind-the-scenes moments, and celebrate their performance on one of the biggest submission grappling stages in South Africa.

What we offer
Our boxing classes focus on teaching you the fundamentals and advanced techniques of boxing. They're suitable for everyone, whether you're a beginner or looking to improve your skills. Our experienced instructors will guide you through drills and sparring, emphasising proper form, speed, and power. The classes are designed to enhance your physical fitness, boost your confidence, and teach you how to defend yourself, all within a safe and supportive environment.
Our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) classes are centred on providing comprehensive training in both the fundamentals and advanced strategies of BJJ. Open to all skill levels, from novices to experienced practitioners, these classes focus on grappling, ground fighting, and submission techniques. Under the guidance of skilled instructors, you'll learn to leverage your body mechanics to gain an advantage over your opponents. The program aims to build your physical conditioning, enhance problem-solving skills, and promote self-discipline, all within a welcoming and respectful environment.
Our Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) classes offer a holistic approach to martial arts training, covering a wide range of techniques from striking to grappling. Catering to everyone from beginners to advanced fighters, these sessions provide a comprehensive workout that improves stand-up combat, clinch work, and ground fighting. With expert instructors leading the way, students learn to combine techniques from various disciplines, enhancing their versatility and adaptability in combat. The aim is to develop not only physical strength and agility but also mental sharpness and resilience. All of this takes place in an inclusive and supportive setting, creating a sense of community and mutual respect among students.
Our Muay Thai classes focus on the striking arts, teaching powerful kicks, punches, elbows, and knee strikes, perfect for stand-up combat effectiveness. Meanwhile, our Wrestling classes are specifically designed to complement Jiu-Jitsu and MMA training, focusing on takedowns, control, and groundwork that are essential for grappling success. Whether you're looking to dominate in the ring with striking precision or gain the upper hand in grappling exchanges, our expert-led classes provide the skills needed for all-around combat sports proficiency.
Our Kids’ Martial Arts Program is designed to introduce young learners to the fundamentals of both Boxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) in a fun, safe, and engaging environment. Open to children of all skill levels, these classes focus on the core techniques of each discipline- striking, stance, and defence in boxing; and self-defence, grappling, and ground control in BJJ.
Led by experienced and patient instructors who specialise in working with kids, the program helps children improve physical fitness, coordination, and mental resilience. Along the way, they’ll build confidence, discipline, and respect for others - all while making new friends and having a blast. Whether your child is bursting with energy or seeking to develop new skills, our supportive community provides the ideal space for growth, learning, and thriving through martial arts.
